Meet Jeffrey Perez
Jeffrey Perez is a lifelong Oklahoman, public servant, and legal professional dedicated to strengthening opportunity and expanding access to justice.
Raised in a hardworking immigrant household, Jeffrey learned early on the value of perseverance, responsibility, and community. Like many Oklahoma families, his household faced financial challenges and uncertainty, but those experiences shaped his determination to pursue education and public service.
Jeffrey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Oklahoma State University and has built a career focused on government service, legal advocacy, and community engagement.
His commitment to service led him to Washington, D.C., where he was selected for the highly competitive Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute internship program. There, he served in the office of a United States Congressman, helping respond to constituent concerns, conducting legislative research, and assisting with policy work affecting communities across the country.
Jeffrey also worked with the United States Agency for International Development through the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, supporting program operations and assisting teams responsible for international development initiatives.
In Oklahoma, Jeffrey has worked in the legal field as a paralegal and legal assistant, helping attorneys prepare cases and assist clients navigating complex legal challenges. His work has included assisting individuals and families dealing with financial hardship and legal barriers.
Through these experiences, Jeffrey has seen firsthand how policy decisions impact real people.
Those lessons are what inspired him to step forward and run for office.
Jeffrey believes Oklahoma deserves leaders who listen to their communities, work across differences, and remain focused on solving real problems.
